French Black Copper Marans

We have sought out the top genetic lines to create our own pure, high-quality breeding stock.  Our copper marans have wonderful, gentle personalities and we breed for the darkest eggs.

These are French Marans which means they have distinctive feathered feet. 

Soon we will be premiering a special line of French Marans bred from a very difficult to source line directly from France.  That line will be mature early 2024.

Our olive egger hybrids are all based on Marans Crosses - both French Black Copper Marans and sometimes Cuckoo Marans.  This give the eggs a deeper coloring.
